I started Fathom Digital because I saw too many organizations rushing to implement AI without asking the right question: "How does this augment what my team already does well?"
The Story
I've been building software for 15 years. For over six of those, I've operated as a lead engineer, product owner, and team lead, shipping products across education, consulting, and professional services.
When the AI wave hit, I noticed something troubling: most conversations centered around replacement. Replace your support team. Replace your analysts. Replace your writers.
But in my experience working with subject matter experts, the best results came when AI handled the repetitive cognitive work, freeing experts to focus on nuanced judgment, relationship building, and strategic thinking.
